I Wonder If…
I wonder if I am really going to do a duet for either the Spring Concert or for the Pop’s Concert (If we do one again, that is). On Monday I had lessons for Chamber Choir and my friend and I both went to see Wicked and started singing the songs from it. While singing For Good (One of my all-time favorite songs) Ms.B told us we sounded good and should do a duet for a concert. Well, since your talking about me and my friend, we both got really excited since we both looove Wicked and it would be a really cool thing to do. The thing is that I totally have Stage-Freight when it comes to singing. I guess im comfortable when doing a duet, but singing by myself I get scared. Yea, For Good is a duet, but a lot of the song is solo’s for both people, and I’m still not sure if I can do it. I think I might, but only if my friend does it too!

Ahh, that sounds exciting. It is really cool that you are so into acting. Are you doing the Suessical the Musical thing too? I’m sure if you did a duet, no matter if it is by yourself or with somebody else, you would do great. Good luck on all your plays! Btw, what exactly is the Pop’s Concert … maybe I am out of it, but I have never heard of it before.

Yea, Im doing the Suessical…and the Pops concert is basically a little ‘concert’ for people who dont get to do things in the real concert. The music teachers give us chances to do solos or whatever for the concerts, but since last year there were too many people wanting to do them, they held a seperate concert for everyone who didnt get to do them in the real concert.

I love the music in Wicked. I love the song Dancing through life. I love listening to it so much. I am happy that you are doing the Seussical. You are a great actress and singer. Hope for the best. I will be at the show.
