“Person to person is the…”
Right now, we are listening to our current mayor of our small town, Mayor Dickenson. One of many things he has said, is ‘Person to person is the most important communication.” I think this is an important message he said. My first reaction was, ‘no wonder he is mayor’. This was a really good thing for him to say, and I agree with him. Preson to person IS the most important communication because that is how we adapt to others. If there are two people who never talk to one another, they wont become good communicators with eachother as if two people who always talk with have good communication between them. I felt like going up to him afterward and saying how much I liked what he said, but of course I was either too scared, or he left before I got the chance. (I think it was both, actually) This was a really cool expiriance to be able to listen to the interview and be able to see it happen. Also very cool about the disscusion on the Wiki that we could ask questions from there. Good job to whoever asked what type of communication was important….because that was the quote I used! “Person to Person communication is the most important communication.”….sheesh its so good!

i agree with you that person to person communication is the most important, but i also disagreed with a lot of things he said. he is very anti-technology and said to fill your brain with tons of facts. why would you fill your mind up with useless facts when you could learn about something you love?the computer is an excellent resource, and she be used. on the topic of technology, when he said that we should be comfortable with computers, but in 20 years they will be more sophisticated and we will not know how to use them. we are the generation that is based totally around computers and technology. as we grow, the technology also grows. in 20 years we will be the ones that know how to use the technology, because we know the basics and how things started out. wow sorry i wrote alot. if you think this is to controversial,you don’t have to put it up.i was just thinking of all this stuff, and really wanted to get a chance to give my opinions.p.s your blogs are all so good!
